Role Overview:

As a Manager / Assistant Manager: Application Security Engineer (Automation & Incident Response) at EQUIPE CONTAINER SERVICES INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, a subsidiary of WillScot, you will play a crucial role in defining, supporting, and enhancing application security and cybersecurity operational processes to align with IT strategy and business objectives. Your responsibilities will span across various technology disciplines to ensure the implementation of application security best practices, automation of security tasks, and efficient incident response procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Software Development teams to integrate application security best practices into Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Collaborate with Software Development teams to fully integrate application security testing tools into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Review vulnerability findings and provide consultation on remediation prioritization.
• Validate vulnerability remediation efforts to ensure effectiveness.
• Maintain and enhance application security metrics and dashboards to monitor the security posture of different software development teams.
• Develop and maintain API integrations between security tools and enterprise systems.
• Create and maintain software programs/scripts for ETL processes to aggregate and report security data.
• Automate repetitive security tasks to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Monitor, respond to, and triage security events escalated from MSSPs and IT Service Desk.
• Follow established security incident response procedures to classify, prioritize, and escalate security incidents.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners for subject matter expertise during security incident lifecycle.
• Document incident timelines, decisions, and actions taken, and participate in root cause analysis and lessons learned sessions.
• Define, gather, and document metrics related to security event and incident management.
• Establish strong relationships with technical and business teams to meet expectations and deadlines effectively.
• Ensure internal and 3rd party IT solutions align with business needs and security requirements while adhering to company standards and industry best practices.
• Build relationships with technical and business teams to understand their needs, priorities, and roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in an IT-related field preferred.
• BE/B Tech/ BCA/MCA Preferred.
• 8-16 years of strong experience in Cybersecurity with relevant certifications.
• Practical knowledge of industry cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Understanding of data privacy and protection standards and regulations.
• Deep knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and secure coding principles.
