Job description

Equifax is where you can power your possible. If you want to achieve your true potential, chart new paths, develop new skills, collaborate with bright minds,  and make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.

Are you a proactive sales hunter driven by winning new accounts and crushing targets? Equifax is looking for an energetic, results-focused Account Executive – Specialized Sales to expand our client footprint. In this role, you will directly drive net-new revenue by identifying market opportunities, executing strategic territory plans, and pitching our high-value ACA compliance product portfolio to C-suite executives and key decision-makers.

If you excel at consultative selling, building strategic pipelines, and closing mid-to-large enterprise deals, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact with an industry leader.

What You Will Do

  • Drive Net-New Revenue: Actively acquire new business logos and partner channels within your assigned territory, driving expansion through direct sales outreach and targeted market penetration.

  • Build & Maintain Pipeline: Execute proactive multi-channel prospecting strategies (cold calling, targeted digital outreach, and social selling) to generate, qualify, and nurture high-potential leads into actionable opportunities.

  • Consultative & Value-Based Selling: Partner with client decision-makers to identify pain points, mapping Equifax HR compliance and ACA offerings to operational needs while quantifying clear business value and ROI.

  • Manage the Full Sales Cycle: Own the end-to-end sales process—from initial outreach through technical discovery, executive presentation, RFI/RFP management, commercial terms negotiation, and final contract execution.

  • Strategic Territory & Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive territory plans, analyzing market data to optimize coverage, track key performance metrics, and consistently exceed quota targets.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with internal Pre-Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Service teams to structure complex deals and ensure long-term client success.

What Experience You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience.

  • 5+ years of direct B2B new-business sales (hunting) experience with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding an individual quota.

  • Proven experience creating territory plans, driving pipeline generation, and managing complex end-to-end sales cycles.

  • Demonstrated track record of negotiating commercial terms and closing mid-to-large scale enterprise agreements.

  • Superior presentation skills with proven ability to build trust and pitch to senior and C-suite decision-makers.

What Sets You Apart

  • Direct experience with Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance, Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll, or HR Technology / Managed Services.

  • Experience with enterprise structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Solution Selling, Challenger).

  • Demonstrated success managing strategic third-party channel relationships or business partnerships.

  • Advanced commercial negotiation, executive storytelling, and consultative objection-handling skills.
