Job Description

ROLE: DATA ENINEER (PYTHON & PYSPARK)

Location: Mississauga

Experience: 5–6 years

Key Responsibilities

Domain Expertise

Experience in KYC / AML workflows
Understanding of Client Onboarding and Client Lifecycle Management

Technical Skills – Must Have

Data Pipeline Development: Building scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
Programming: Strong hands-on experience in Python and/or Scala
Big Data Ecosystem:
Spark, PySpark, Flink, Hadoop, Kafka
Cloud Data Platforms:
AWS, Azure, or GCP (any one is acceptable)
SQL & Databases:
Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar
NoSQL Databases:
MongoDB, Couchbase, or equivalent
Data Orchestration Tools:
Airflow or Prefect

Technical Skills – Good to Have

Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
Large-scale document processing tools: SpaCy, NLTK, or LLM-based pipelines
Experience with distributed, multi-tier applications
Exposure to high-performance and scalable data systems
