Senior/Lead IAM Engineer (Ping)

We are hiring a

• *Senior or Lead IAM Engineer**

with strong administrative and troubleshooting skills, in-depth knowledge of architecture, engineering, and design principles, and the ability to manage diverse applications and data systems.

This role is focused on developing scalable and resilient security solutions to support key business initiatives. Additionally, the position involves planning and designing security policies to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with information security standards.

• *Responsibilities**

Architect, design, and build security solutions to protect information system resources and assets

Lead the design and implementation of security architectures and strategies

Ensure technology integrations comply with Information Security policies, standards, and business objectives

Mentor team members and associates in security best practices

Maintain awareness of security technology trends, direction, and related issues

Develop long-term strategies for supported security systems

Provide administrative and troubleshooting support for IAM solutions

Plan and design security policies to maintain rigorous standards across applications and data systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective deployment and operation of IAM solutions

• *Requirements**

Minimum 7 years of experience with IAM technologies, including Ping AIC, ACI, PingOne Protect, and Verify

Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, or Python

General knowledge of Active Directory (AD) or other LDAP Directory Services

Familiarity with Intrusion Detection, Security Policies/GPOs, Operating System (OS) hardening

Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO), Federation (SAML and/or OIDC), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Certificates/Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and Identity Management concepts

Understanding of Cloud Technology and device authentication is a plus

Experience with other IAM technologies (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, BeyondTrust PowerBroker) is highly desirable, including support skills such as tracing, logging, and real-time troubleshooting
