Senior / Lead Business Analyst - Life Science and Pharma

We are seeking a Senior / Lead Business Analyst to act as the key medium between the Product Owner, Stakeholders and Dev QA teams, who are all geared towards growth and development of one or multiple offerings within the Delivery platform. With an innovative analyst mindset and client needs in mind, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements. We expect you to be a critical thinker who can analyze problems, ideate, document effectively and communicate with clarity. Responsibilities Analyze business processes, gather requirements, identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity Collaborate closely with Product Owner and stakeholders to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for development and QA teams Convert product roadmap features into technical specifications, including user stories, acceptance criteria and integration details Support the product vision and roadmap by providing technical insights and feasibility analysis Perform data analysis and system impact assessments, working with partner teams to ensure accurate and actionable insights Act as a technical subject matter expert, offering solutions for complex use cases and integration scenarios Participate in UAT and technical validation, ensuring requirements are met and systems function as intended Monitor and evaluate technical progress, recommending improvements to optimize performance and scalability Identify and mitigate technical impediments to ensure successful completion of sprint and release goals Serve as a bridge between business and development teams, ensuring clarity on technical requirements and priorities Track commitments, dependencies and ensure alignment with customer expectations Synthesize input from multiple stakeholders to maximize delivered value Requirements 6 to 15 years of experience in IT, with around 7 years as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst in software development or data-driven projects Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field Expertise in business analysis, requirement gathering, BRD and FRD Skills in stakeholder management and Life Science / Pharma domain Proficiency in SQL, data analysis and data visualization tools such as Power BI Knowledge of web technologies, API integrations and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex technical requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders Competency in requirements gathering techniques, technical documentation and process modeling Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Flexibility to use Microsoft Visio, JIRA and Confluence along with API documentation tools Capability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Nice to have Master's degree Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) AWS/Azure Cloud Certification
