Accountant Technician

This is a remote position but we are only hiring candidates who currently live in Canada.

We specialize in supporting companies that have a big vision. We have expertise in more complicated accounting for industries such as technology and manufacturing, and are an excellent learning environment for CPAs and CPA candidates.

As an Entreflow Accounting Technician, you work with our fabulous clients and are responsible for:

• Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
• Pushing bank feeds
• Managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Processing monthly/quarterly GST/PST/Payroll remittances
• Supporting senior accounting technicians with full cycle bookkeeping tasks

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
• Working towards your Canadian CPA Designation
• Self-motivated, collaboratively focused
• A willingness to constantly learn
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong technical accounting skills and understanding
• Tech Savvy (Experience using QuickBooks Online and/or Xero cloud accounting software an asset)
• Experience with data analysis, financial statement analysis, financial planning, and reporting an asset.
• Experience in Canadian sales tax (GST,HST,PST etc.) is an asset

For our CPA candidates, we do not have a pre-approved program due to the nature of the complexity of our roles; however, you would have access to a CPA mentor within the firm and all previous CPA Candidates were successful with completing the higher level competency requirements for the experience report route with ease.
