Position Description
ENSCO Avionics, Inc. has a need for a Test Equipment engineer to design integrate and document Test Equipment and associated Test Program Sets used in avionics systems. The individual will be responsible for generating test stand designs to stimulate avionic control system boxes. Once completed the candidate will develop Test Program Sets for adapting various units to the test stand. Candidates will perform system level electrical design, schematic design, and integration activities. Knowledge of circuit design, electrical engineering concepts, and test methods is required. Strong documentation skills are required for generation of manuals, procedures, and test flow diagrams. Tools used for the design include Microsoft Office, VISIO, and Fusion Mechanical design. Optional activities include the PWB design of interface circuit board and script level integration utilizing National Instruments Test Stand software.
Qualifications Required
• Bachelor's or equivalent with 3+ years related experience
• Test stand or similar system level electrical design experience
• MS Office (Excel, Word, etc).
• Schematic design using qualified tool such as Eagle, Mentor Graphics, or similar.
• Integration and debug of hardware.
• Strong Documentation skills for manuals and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environments.
• Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleagues.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Secret Security Clearance, for which you must be a U.S Citizen.
Qualifications Desired
• PWB/Schematic capture experience utilizing Eagle, Mentor Graphics, or similar toolset.
• Mechanical design experience utilizing tools such as Fusion or CREO.
• TPS development utilizing NI Test Stand software.
