Renewable Energy Project Development & Finance Associate

Locations: Washington DC, Denver, Phoenix| Remote, Hybrid or In-Office Flexibility Available

A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Renewable Energy Project Development & Finance Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its nationally recognized Renewable Energy Project Development & Finance practice.

About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated clean energy transactions while building deep experience in project development, finance and energy related M&A.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on the development, acquisition, financing and disposition of renewable energy projects.
Support project finance, M&A and other strategic transactions within the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and transaction documents.
Work closely with clients, investors, lenders, developers and other key stakeholders to execute complex transactions.
Contribute to innovative renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, battery storage, geothermal and hydrogen developments across the United States.

Qualifications

3-6 years of experience advising on project development, financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions and commercial agreements.
Attorneys with renewable energy experience and familiarity with key project agreements
Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $215,000 – $270,000+ (based on experience and location)
