Research Quality Specialist Material Science (Task-Based)

Location :Remote (Open to candidates based in Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Nigeria, Turkey, and Vietnam)

Contract Duration : (48 Weeks) Contract

Compensation : $80 per task

Complex tasks are expected to take approximately 4 hours to complete.

About the Role

We are seeking highly analytical and research-oriented professionals in Computational Materials Science to contribute to advanced AI research and evaluation projects. This role is ideal for PhD candidates and PhD holders with expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, and scientific programming.

As a Research Quality Specialist, you will design challenging domain-specific scientific problems, develop accurate computational solutions, and participate in rigorous quality review processes that support next-generation AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Quantitative Problem Design & Solution Development
• Create original graduate-level and research-grade problems within computational materials science.
• Develop scientifically rigorous solutions using Python and computational methods.
• Define problem categories, assign difficulty levels, and apply appropriate scientific classifications.
• Ensure solutions are accurate, logically consistent, and supported by sound scientific reasoning.
• Quality Assurance & Collaboration
• Participate in structured peer-review and quality evaluation processes.
• Review problems and solutions for accuracy, completeness, and technical quality.
• Collaborate with reviewers and project leads to incorporate feedback and improve deliverables.
• Maintain high standards of scientific and technical excellence.

Required Qualifications

• PhD or PhD Candidate in Computational Materials Science, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a closely related field.
• Research experience in Semiconductor Materials and/or Molecular Modeling.
• At least one peer-reviewed publication in a recognized journal.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Active LinkedIn profile.
• Advanced proficiency in Python programming for scientific computing.
• Experience with computational modeling, simulations, or materials informatics

Availability of approximately 8 hours per day.

Ability to maintain at least 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST).
