Senior System Administrator

Our client is seeking Systems Administrators to join their growing Information Technology team. This role is responsible for supporting Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud environments while maintaining and enhancing on-premise virtualization, server, and storage infrastructure.

This is a key opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys working across infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity while contributing to modernization initiatives and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of availability, security, and performance across server, storage, Microsoft, and cloud infrastructure
• Provide technical expertise and support for Microsoft 365 and cloud environments
• Ensure cybersecurity and privileged account management practices are implemented and followed
• Evaluate opportunities for system improvements and modernization
• Design, develop, and implement new infrastructure solutions
• Participate in system upgrades, infrastructure projects, and cloud initiatives
• Maintain day-to-day operations of Microsoft platforms, cloud services, and systems infrastructure
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver efficient technology solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a 2-year Technology Diploma in Computer Science
• Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (or equivalent)
• 6+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator in a complex, multi-site environment supporting 700+ users
• Experience managing Microsoft infrastructure, hybrid cloud environments, and virtualization platforms
• ITIL Foundation certification is considered an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated adaptability with the ability to work across multiple IT initiatives and projects
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs for installation of hardware when required
• Ability to obtain and pass a Police Information Check (PIC)
