What You’ll Do

- Design and iterate on a wide range of in-game graphic elements, including banners, holosprays, badges, decals, icons, UI graphics, and other player-facing content.
- Help create content that supports seasonal releases, events, and evolving player-facing experiences within Apex Legends.
- Produce high-quality illustrations, thumbnails, sketches, and polished production-ready assets that align with Apex Legends’ visual language and artistic standards.
- Apply strong understanding of composition, typography, color theory, materials, shape language, lighting, and visual hierarchy in all design work.
- Finalize, polish, and refine externally created content as needed to ensure visual quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Review outsourced work and provide clear, actionable visual feedback to external partners to maintain artistic consistency and production quality.
- Assist with the creation of production briefs, style guides, documentation, and external development workflows to support scalable asset production.
- Collaborate with production and external development teams to help address vendor feedback, scheduling needs, scope changes, and quality concerns.
- Participate actively in critiques and feedback sessions, iterating quickly to improve quality and alignment with project goals.
- Work within gameplay, technical, UI, and production constraints to ensure designs are achievable and implementation-ready.
- Stay informed on emerging tools, workflows, and production methodologies, helping improve efficiency and creative iteration across the team.
- Contribute to team growth by sharing knowledge, workflows, and best practices with peers.
Ideally, You Will Have

- A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional graphic design, illustration, and visual communication skills.
- Strong understanding of design fundamentals, including composition, typography, color, lighting, perspective, scale, and visual hierarchy.
- Proven ability to create polished, production-ready assets that clearly communicate design intent and support gameplay readability.
- Exceptional illustration and graphic design skills across a wide variety of asset types, including icons, UI graphics, promotional assets, and in-game cosmetic content.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback across multidisciplinary and external teams.
- Experience working with external development partners or outsourced art teams is a plus.
- Ability to adapt quickly to feedback and iterate effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
