[EdgeConneX is looking for summer interns. This will be a paid, 10-week internship from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026]

Title: Accounting Intern

Pay: $23/hr

The Accounting Intern will provide support to the accounting team by completing balance sheet reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and assisting with accounting research. This position reports to a Senior Accountant but will include active coaching and mentorship from the Senior Director/Assistant Controller.

Primary Responsibilities

Gain a broad overview of various aspects of accounting by observing and assisting accounting professionals.

Prepare and record journal entries in NetSuite ERP system.

Assist with research, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.

Learning how to work as part of the accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company.

Assist with reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

Assist team in developing and implementing process improvements, new controls, and developing automation.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Work both cooperatively with other people and also independently

Good organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience/Education

Actively enrolled working towards Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Junior or Senior credit status)
