Your Impact

We are seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (Sr. TAM) to spearhead post-sales relationships with EDB's largest and most dynamic customers. As a Sr. TAM, you will function as a trusted advisor, ensuring successful implementation and encouraging continued adoption of Postgres technology. Your technical expertise will be invaluable in problem-solving, providing architectural guidance, and enhancing our customers' experiences.

What You'll Bring

• Engage closely with several major customers to foster strong technical relationships.
• Establish rapport with senior technical leaders within client organizations, becoming their go-to advisor.
• Support customers in maximizing the value of their Postgres investments.
• Assist in strategizing and implementing Postgres proliferation across customer environments.
• Provide technical leadership on significant Postgres projects, including solutions consulting and architecture advice.
• Coordinate efforts between various EDB teams, such as Professional Services, Technical Support, and Account Management.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the EDB product lineup.
• Offer constructive feedback to product management based on customer insights.
• Document best practices for deploying EDB solutions effectively.
• Act as a front-line resource for technical inquiries and best practices.
• Manage escalations and work with the technical support team for expedited resolutions.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

What Will Give You an Edge

• At least eight (8) years of hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL Server; professional certifications are a plus.
• Advanced knowledge in data management platforms, operating systems, and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of data analytics and AI/ML fundamentals.
• Experience with Kubernetes is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical abilities related to technical challenges and project management.
• Strong grasp of the strategic sales process.
• Exceptional organizational skills, adept at managing competing client demands.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage with C-level executives.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Completion of the EDB Postgres Professional Certification within 6 months is expected; ongoing training is essential.
