Job description

Everforth ECS is seeking a Technical Training and Customer Enablement Specialist to work in the National Capital Region covering the Pentagon, Falls Church, and Fairfax. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

The War Data Platform (WDP) is a key initiative within the U.S. Department of War's (DoW) AI-First strategy introduced in early 2026. The WDP separates business and financial data from operational warfighting data, aiming to accelerate the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) on the battlefield. The WDP extends to Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret environments, and supports collaboration between Combatant Commands, Joint Staff directorates, Senior Executive Service leaders, and operational analysts.

The Technical Training and Customer Enablement Specialist delivers hands-on technical instruction, manages WDP's enterprise knowledge repository, and tracks measurable enablement outcomes that accelerate platform adoption and reduce user friction across Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret environments for data engineers, analysts, and tool administrators. This role bridges technical platform expertise with instructional delivery, directly supporting warfighter enablement and the continuous improvement of WDP's enterprise training and customer success operations.

  • Delivers instructor-led and virtual training with hands-on labs and schedules working sessions where WDP engineers, analysts, and tool administrators bring live pipeline issues, catalog tasks, and configuration questions for step-by-step coaching aligned to release timelines across Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret enclaves.
  • Converts recurring Service Desk questions into knowledge articles, job aids, and short tutorial videos that demonstrate operational methods for Databricks, Spark, Airflow, Kafka, Unity Catalog, identity services, and repository publishing.
  • Operates the Government-approved knowledge repository by publishing and cataloging content, managing SCORM and xAPI telemetry, maintaining freshness metrics, monitoring views and completions, and issuing release-tied notifications.
  • Tracks on-time start rate, completion rate, lab pass rate, time-to-proficiency, knowledge-base deflection, and satisfaction, and displays results on program dashboards used by CDAO leadership, Combatant Commands, and Joint Staff directorates.
  • Coordinates with product managers, data engineering leads, and governance specialists to validate procedures and to sequence content drops with change windows and enclave deployment calendars.
  • Produces deliverables that include class materials, lab datasets, instructor guides, incident playbooks, notification packages, and monthly enablement summaries.
  • Demonstrates measurable impact by reducing repeat incidents, shortening incident resolution time in lab scenarios, raising assessment scores, and increasing adoption of approved WDP workflows and documentation across the enterprise.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Current Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • 3-10 years of experience in technical training delivery, customer enablement, knowledge management, or a closely related discipline within federal, DoW, or enterprise data and analytics platform environments.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering role-based technical instruction and managing enterprise knowledge repositories, including publishing and maintaining SCORM or xAPI-compliant content, operating Government-approved learning management platforms, and tracking enablement metrics such as completion rates, knowledge-base deflection, and user satisfaction in support of program reporting requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate solution.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally interact with a diverse set of stakeholders (from peers to end-users to executive management).
