Role Overview:

You are sought to be a detail-oriented and proactive Intermediate CA (IPCC/Inter Qualified) professional to join the Finance & Accounts team at EcoRatings. Your responsibilities will include managing accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and supporting audits while ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Bookkeeping:
• Manage day-to-day accounting entries and journal postings
• Maintain General Ledger, Debtors & Creditors reconciliation
• Perform bank reconciliation and cash flow tracking
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
• GST & Taxation:
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
• Reconcile GST (GSTR-2A/2B)
• Handle TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing
• Manage statutory compliances and notices
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Conduct MIS reporting and variance analysis
• Prepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and cash flow statements
• Audit & Compliance:
• Assist in statutory and internal audits
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act and applicable regulations
• Maintain documentation for financial records and compliance
• Process Improvement:
• Support automation of finance processes
• Enhance reporting efficiency and data accuracy

Qualification Required:

You should be CA Intermediate (IPCC/Inter) qualified with 25 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards and taxation is essential. Experience in handling GST, TDS, and statutory filings is required.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Tally (ERP 9 / Tally Prime)
• Strong command over MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)
• Working knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems
• Familiarity with compliance portals (GST, Income Tax)

Qualifications

Understanding of sustainability-related financial reporting is a plus. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, with CA certification is required.
