You will be the Legal Head/Advocate responsible for leading the legal department, providing strategic legal advice, managing litigation, ensuring compliance, and safeguarding the organization's legal interests.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide legal counsel to the executive team on business strategies, contracts, and regulatory matters.
- Manage and oversee all legal aspects of the organization, including corporate governance and compliance.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, litigation matters, negotiations, and dispute resolutions.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure regulatory compliance and protect the company's interests.
- Stay updated on industry-related changes in laws and regulations, advising the organization accordingly.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for legal compliance across all business operations.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary and manage relationships with legal service providers.
- Conduct legal research and offer guidance on various legal issues to different departments within the organization.
- Train and educate staff on legal matters, compliance, and risk management.
- Monitor and address potential legal risks and issues that may arise.
- *Qualifications Required:**
- Law degree from a recognized institution and a valid license to practice law.
- Proven experience as a Legal Head or Advocate in a corporate environment.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical legal advice.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
In addition to the job role, the company expects you to have at least 5 years of total work experience and will require you to work in person at the specified location.
