We’re looking to work with a Food Scientist / R&D Specialist with experience in product formulation & scale.

Role: Food Scientist / R&D - Product Development

Full-time

Compensation: To be discussed, aligned with experience and role scope

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of new products from concept to formulation, including functional foods, beverages, and nutritional products⁠

Translate product ideas into viable formulations, balancing taste, texture, nutrition, and clean-label requirements

Experiment with ingredients, processes, and formats to create differentiated products⁠

Refine and optimize formulations for consistency, scalability, and cost efficiency

Support scale-up from lab to pilot and commercial production⁠

Conduct shelf-life studies, stability testing, and ingredient compatibility assessments

Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure product quality and consistency

What We’re Looking For:⁠

Background in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field

Hands-on experience in formulation and product development

Experience in taking products from concept to scale is strongly preferred

Familiarity with functional ingredients (e.g., plant proteins, fibres, adaptogens, low-GI sweeteners)

Experience with processing techniques such as extrusion, baking, or beverage formulation is a strong plus

Understanding of clean-label requirements and regulatory considerations
