We’re looking to work with a Food Scientist / R&D Specialist with experience in product formulation & scale.

Role: Food Scientist / R&D - Product Development

Full-time

Compensation: To be discussed, aligned with experience and role scope

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new products from concept to formulation, including functional foods, beverages, and nutritional products⁠
• Translate product ideas into viable formulations, balancing taste, texture, nutrition, and clean-label requirements
• Experiment with ingredients, processes, and formats to create differentiated products⁠
• Refine and optimize formulations for consistency, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Support scale-up from lab to pilot and commercial production⁠
• Conduct shelf-life studies, stability testing, and ingredient compatibility assessments
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure product quality and consistency

What We’re Looking For:⁠

• Background in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field
• Hands-on experience in formulation and product development
• Experience in taking products from concept to scale is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with functional ingredients (e.g., plant proteins, fibres, adaptogens, low-GI sweeteners)
• Experience with processing techniques such as extrusion, baking, or beverage formulation is a strong plus
• Understanding of clean-label requirements and regulatory considerations
