Tax Accountant-Experienced

We are a well-established and expanding public accounting firm in Northern Virginia, and we are seeking Experienced Tax Accountants at all levels to join our tax team.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations
• Conduct detailed tax research on issues such as estate planning, securities law, and regulatory reporting
• Collaborate with team members on complex tax issues
• Supervise and mentor junior staff (Supervisor/Manager level)
• Manage client relationships and supporting firm growth (Manager level)

What We're Looking For

• CPA, CPA candidate or EA with at least 2 to 20 years of recent and hands-on public accounting experience
• Strong understanding of tax compliance across multiple entity types, including trusts and estates
• In-depth knowledge of tax concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, GAAP standards, and regulatory frameworks
• Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with CCH ProSystems fx is a plus
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a desire to grow with the firm

Pay: $84,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
