1.Role & responsibilities:

Job Summary

The role is responsible for overseeing delivery and pick-up related activities, including reverse pick-ups on a daily basis across the respective region. The role is also responsible for working closely with the Shift Supervisors & DMCs to ensure same day delivery, COD remittance, Smart Track updates etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational: Monitor delivery of all consignments, including e-com parcels in respective area on the same day. Monitor total operations (both incoming & outgoing), including CRM, cash booking, pick-up and all other activities that are to be undertaken in the branch.Monitor the updates on SmartTrack on real time basis for every delivery / pick-upMaintain good working relationship with HR, finance & administration departmentsUnderstand the market forces, dynamics and focus on improving branch performanceInteract closely with the customers and the CSS departments to resolve issues / escalationsEnsure submission of Proof of Delivery (POD) by the team on a daily basis as per defined timelinesEnsure that material packing is done correctly without any defects by the teamMonitor international booking & forwarding with appropriate checksEnsure quick delivery of load from airport hub to branch / apex location by the teamEnsure 100% FDM / BDM / status code on system and also on floorInteract with customer to validate pending / undelivered shipments & schedule deliveryClear all open shipments on a daily basisMonitor CRM tickets of BA & BM and update / close on system on a daily basisMonitor the pick-up portal and arrange pick-up on same day and update on systemEnsure same day delivery of e-com shipments & deposit of COD amount with CDSCheck and ensure 100% shipment in-scan on system every morningEnsure special care in case of PTP consignments and deliver as per TATMonitor booking of premium and non-docs consignments along with master bag manifest preparationOversee the loading of consignments and proper staging for better unloading along the routeResponsible for overall first and last mile activity on ground, including RVP, portal pick-ups, connecting load to apex as per TAT and direct connection to airportsMonitor both inbound and outbound vehicle operationsMonitor up & down kilometers for all vehicles by coordinating with respective driversResponsible for DSL performance, DEPS control, BA billing, quality control for the respective region

Preferred candidate profile:

Qualification

• Graduation (any discipline) with 5 - 7 years of experience in operations / delivery or similar rolePrior experience in a supervisory role in logistics / courier / transportation / food delivery / grocery delivery and other related industry is preferred.
• Knowledge & Abilities: Attention to deliver and adhere to timelinesAbility to inspire confidence and create trustAbility to manage client / customer expectations Knowledge of courier & logistics operationsAbility to take decisions with the best available dataExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.
