Job description
Key Responsibilities:-
- Prepare laboratories before practical sessions.
- Set up electronic circuits, trainer kits, and laboratory equipment.
- Assist faculty members during practical classes and examinations.
- Maintain electronic instruments such as oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, multimeters, microprocessors and microcontroller kits, communications trainer kits, and PCB tools.
- Troubleshoot minor faults in laboratory equipment.
- Maintain stock registers, issue/return registers, and inventory of laboratory components and consumables.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of laboratory equipment.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the laboratory.
- Assist students in operating laboratory equipment safely.
- Support project work, exhibitions, and technical events.
- Report major equipment faults to the Head of Department and coordinate repairs.
Required Qualifications:-
- Diploma in Elctronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication is an added advantage.
