Position Overview
dormakaba is seeking a Demand Planner based in Reamstown, PA. The Demand Planner is responsible for developing accurate mid- to long-term demand forecasts to support the manufacturing planning process. This role will lead cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and S&OP teams to ensure a reliable and responsive forecast aligned with business objectives and Market Intelligence.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $85,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.
What You Will Do
- Organize and facilitate monthly demand review meetings, ensuring alignment across Sales, Marketing, and S&OP stakeholders
- Cleanse historical sales data and apply statistical forecasting models to generate reliable mid- to long-term demand plans and collaborate with Sales for inputs on future projects and potential demand changes
- Adjust forecasts based on market dynamics, sales opportunities, and product lifecycle changes (NPI, End-of-Life)
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Product Management, and Operations to validate planning assumptions and drive consensus
- Monitor forecast performance using key metrics (MAPE, Bias) and implement improvements to enhance planning effectiveness
What we require
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or S&OP in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using forecasting tools, ERP (SAP preferred), and advanced Excel skills required
- Expert-level PowerPoint skills with experience developing executive-ready presentations, reports, and meeting materials.
