Automotive Service Writer/Advisor

Job Summary

Don Near Anything is currently hiring for an Automotive service and Sales Writer/Advisor. We are looking for an individual that can take our customer relations to the next level. You will be responsible for developing a team environment with both service writers and mechanics.

Preparing work orders, customer estimates, invoices, reports as required, scheduling customer repairs and preventative maintenance. Creating, entering and closing warranty claims. Must be able to track technician times.

Meeting and greeting customers in a friendly professional manner, communicating with customers in all aspects of the repair process, opening and closing repair orders and creating job plans, working closely with technicians, supervisors, and managers so that work orders are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Commitment to promoting and supporting a safe workplace environment.

Required: Solid organization skills, ability to multitask and work under pressure, ability to work well in a team, should have an understanding of diesel engine operation, strong computer skills, some filing duties and working with book keeper will be required.

Have excellent phone manner and able to work with customers directly.

• service advisor: 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class 5 Drivers License (preferred)
