  • Prepare and manage technical documentation, reports, and internal tracking artifacts that support compliance and quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures, safety guidance, and quality control processes.
  • Facilitate technical meetings, track action items, and ensure disciplined follow-through across functional teams.
  • Identify technical risks and configuration discrepancies and coordinate corrective action.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members and support users as required.

Qualifications

  • This position is primarily local; however, candidates must be willing to support occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel in support of shipboard or shore-based PITCO activities as mission requirements dictate.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related accredited discipline.
  • Seven (7) years of professional systems administration experience with a Master’s degree OR Eleven (11) years of professional systems administration experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Daily operational support of computer network systems
  • Installation and maintenance of hardware and software
  • Systems upgrades and account administration
  • Implementation and maintenance of network security tools including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems
  • Monitoring system configuration for hardware and software
  • Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated technical experience supporting TACNET or other Navy C4I systems.
  • Must meet Cybersecurity Workforce requirements in accordance with DoD 8140 and 8570 within nine (9) months of assignment.
