Job Description
The Global HR Specialist supports the end-to-end employee lifecycle for Employer of Record (EOR) clients and employees across multiple countries. This role focuses on delivering accurate, compliant, and timely HR operations while partnering closely with internal teams and clients. This position is ideal for an experienced HR professional with strong global exposure who is ready to deepen their expertise, take ownership of complex cases, and continue developing toward a senior global HR role.
Responsibilities
- Support the full employee lifecycle for EOR employees in assigned countries, including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding
- Respond to employee and client inquiries through the ticketing system, participating in calls and supporting escalations as needed
- Handle complex HR cases and employee relations matters with guidance from senior team members or local counsel when applicable
- Support global compliance initiatives, audits, and documentation reviews
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help standardize global HR practices
- Prepare HR documentation such as employment contracts, addendums, new hire materials, and policy updates, ensuring accuracy and local compliance
- Maintain up-to-date and compliant employee records, ensuring HRIS data accuracy
- Stay informed on local employment law changes in assigned countries and escalate risks appropriately
- Support voluntary terminations and assist with involuntary terminations in coordination with internal teams and external partners
- Collaborate closely with payroll, legal, account management, and in-country partners to ensure smooth HR operations
- Provide support with reporting, workforce data, and compliance tracking
- Act as a knowledge resource for junior team members and contribute to training and onboarding efforts
Skills & Qualifications
- Solid understanding of global HR operations and employment law fundamentals
- Experience supporting HR processes in multiple countries or regions
- Strong communication skills with an ability to work across cultures
- Familiarity with GDPR and international data protection principles
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Experience using HRIS platforms, ticketing systems (e.g., Salesforce), and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- HR certification is a plus but not required
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably with exposure to global HR, EOR, or international operations
- Experience working directly with clients and handling operational HR issues
