Position Summary

• Miami-based General Contracting firm seeks an experienced Commercial Superintendent for immediate hire.
• Oversee daily field operations and project management of high-end commercial construction projects, mainly Restaurant/Retail.
• Minimum 10 years of Superintendent experience required.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and driven.
• Coordinate project team and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
• Competitive salary based on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site construction phases including subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure project specifications are followed; work progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.
• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to meet deadlines.
• Conduct quality control of work performed.
• Communicate project updates including ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with contracted scope of work.
• Coordinate inspections with local authorities.
• Identify and address safety, health, and environmental issues.
• Resolve construction progress conflicts through communication.
• Maintain daily written log of site activities.
• Ensure subcontractors correct all deficiencies.
• Conduct daily project site walks for monitoring and planning.
• Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Issue non-compliance notices related to quality or schedule.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Manage job progress and complete punch lists.

Education & Experience

• Minimum 10+ years superintendent experience.
• Some education combined with experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and coordinating with project managers and leadership.
