Under the guidance of the Culinary Director, you'll oversee catering events and manage financial responsibilities within the team. Your role involves cooking from scratch, developing innovative menus and recipes, and ensuring all staff follow safety protocols while preparing food. You will also act as a liaison between clients and kitchen staff, ensuring every event meets clients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop creative menus for cafeteria and catering
- Supervise, train, and develop staff in culinary best practices
- Establish efficient food preparation schedules for the team
- Resolve discrepancies with suppliers and manage inventory
- Enhance customer relations by addressing concerns promptly
Requirements
- Three years of catering food service experience
- Fluent in diverse global food cultures
- Knowledge of special diets and health regulations
- Red Seal Chef Status preferred but not required
- Serve Safe/Food Safe certification desired
