Job Title – Operations officer II

Period – 6 months

Location – Markham, ON

What You’ll Do:

• Manage queues and process account opening and change requests for commercial deposit accounts.
• Compile and review supporting documentation to meet AML, legal, and regulatory standards.
• Support the timely and accurate completion of transactions, ensuring SLA targets are met.
• Assist internal partners and clients through effective communication and problem resolution.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a sense of urgency in a high-volume, multitasking environment.

Required Skills

• Strong multitasking abilities and ability to perform under pressure.
• Basic understanding of AML compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suites.
• Typing speed of at least 60-65 WPM.
• Previous administrative or operations support experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to review complex legal documents and understand operating procedures.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in banking or financial institutions.
• Knowledge of Host applications and C3 systems.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma; post-secondary education is an asset.
• Prior experience in operations or administrative roles within a high-volume environment.
