This is a 3 month fixed term salaried contract, located in Ontario Canada. Preferably in Toronto.

About You:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you take ownership of complex data workflows that power digital transformation. You will design and implement scalable data solutions that bridge the gap between raw information and actionable marketing insights.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and deploy production-grade data pipelines using modern orchestration tools like Airflow or dbt.
  • Optimize data models for performance and cost-efficiency within cloud environments.
  • Perform code reviews and mentor Core Engineers to ensure high standards of "getting sh*t done".
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to ensure data readiness for advanced modeling.
  • Implement data security and privacy best practices in line with global standards.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines in a professional environment.
  • Deep proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Knowledge of data modeling techniques (e.g., Star Schema, Data Vault).
  • Ability to act fast and adapt to the evolving needs of global brands.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $65 hourly. Rate is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
