This is a 6 month fixed term employee contract initially, with a likelihood of extension.

JOB PURPOSE
You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering on-brand copy, working with AI-generated content across multiple platforms for one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies. You possess a strong intuition and want to continue to learn, grow and challenge yourself. You are inspired by technology and the role a simple narrative plays in culture today. You thrive navigating complexity within teams, organizations, and creativity.
You also have a strong desire to ensure that clients are extremely satisfied with our services and products. In addition, you possess strong problem-solving skills and a track record of success. You will be dealing with multiple personality types, and need to be able to adapt based on the person you are working and communicating with.
In your role, you will report to the Creative Director who will drive the strategy and direction for the creative team. You will support the strategic goals of the company by focusing on the success of these activities and assisting with meeting the short and long-term objectives of the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Collaborate with a large team working at scale to meet and exceed our client’s needs.
- Contribute to elevating brand through narrative development, UX writing, and conceptual thinking.
- Work with content created by AI to ensure concise and compelling brand-voiced copy.
- Articulate ideas into simple narratives for experience and presentation.
- Edit and create headlines, CTAs, hashtags, and body copy.
- Collaborate and develop relationships with our clients.
- Responsible for bringing a solid point-of-view with fresh perspectives to the team.
- Work with minimal processes in place, solving problems by being optimistic and using proactive thought processes and skills.
- Take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 3-5 years of experience in a copywriter role, preferably with experience working with generative AI tools.
- Experience in a creative agency a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree with coursework in creative or technical writing or a related field is a plus.
- Foundational understanding of Figma or equivalent Copy-Design workflow tools.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $60,000 – $70,000 CAD. Salary is based on relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact.
