Position: Technical Project Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Redmond, WA

Position Duration: Direct Hire (Full time)

Job Description

• Program manage sustaining component, test, process and design qualifications from identify to implementation.
• Develop comprehensive issue assessment and mitigation strategies when problems arise.
• Analysis of performance metrics for manufacturing.
• ROI analysis to determine the feasibility of projects..
• Document development to instruct the manufacturing and repair sites how to perform key and critical processes
• Familiarity with BOM update and change review processes.
• Work with global teams and assist in the compilation of status updates.
• Coordination of meetings with technical staff at manufacturing and repair sites and maintain action item logs resulting from the meetings and the follow up of those action items.
• Assist in managing worldwide engineering and quality initiatives and projects.
• Track and report out project status.
• At a high level, this role requires strong expertise in hardware analysis (including wear‑and‑tear assessment of laptops), supply chain fundamentals, highly effective collaboration and communication skills, and a proactive mindset.
• Understanding of FI/FA (Fault Isolation / Failure Analysis) methodology.
• Experience and/or understanding of a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with proprietary MS Business applications (Team Foundation Server) and any ERP system.
