Summary

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) with secondary exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves designing, building, deploying, and operating highly available cloud infrastructure to support hosted applications in a multi-cloud environment.

Note: This role is aligned to an Eastern Standard Time (EST) schedule; however, the location is open across Canada.

What will your typical day look like?

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, and EKS, with secondary support for GCP services such as Compute Engine and GKE.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Terragrunt following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or similar platforms.
• Implement and maintain cloud governance, security, and compliance controls across AWS and GCP environments.
• Develop and support monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using cloud-native and third‑party tools.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations, ensuring timely resolution of infrastructure and platform issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to gather requirements and deliver scalable, resilient cloud solutions.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and diagrams.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to tooling, processes, and architectures.

You are someone with these required skills, experience & qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure engineering experience with AWS as the primary platform.
• Strong experience with core AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, and EKS.
• Working knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and GKE.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity management.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Preferred Qualifications
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• GCP certifications (Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch, or similar platforms.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
