Salesforce Developer

Salary: $95,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements

• I hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline; or have equivalent experience.
• I have 2+ years of experience in a Salesforce Developer role.
• I have experience utilizing source control on a Salesforce project.
• I possess experience with Salesforce administration and development.
• I am knowledgeable in advanced Salesforce.com development tools and techniques, including Apex language, Force.com custom development, triggers, controllers, JavaScript, Force.com SOAP and REST APIs, JSON, sObjects, SOQL, SOSL, Chatter APIs, outbound messaging, Lightning Components, and Visualforce pages.
• I have experience developing robust test classes and ensuring code coverage within Salesforce.
• I am familiar with Salesforce's standard development tooling, including the Salesforce CLI, Data Loader, and VS Code with the Salesforce Extension Pack.
• I have experience with Section 508 accessibility requirements and have developed and tested conformant interfaces.
• I am willing and able to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work I do and the clients and industries I serve.
• I am a U.S. Citizen who holds or is eligible to obtain the required clearance for this role.

Responsibilities

• I will develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Configuration and Customization tools like APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
• I will automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools such as Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, and email Alerts.
• I will participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze assigned user stories, and identify or resolve gaps in functional user stories or business requirements.
• I will adhere to defined coding standards and develop well-structured, maintainable, and easily understandable code.
• I will perform independent code reviews and write unit/integration test cases to achieve 85% test coverage.
• I will effectively debug and resolve issues and/or defects that may be reported as a result of faults in the production system.
