Job description
The IT Technician (Level 2) will be responsible for providing intermediate-level technical support, resolving more complex incidents, and maintaining and optimizing IT systems to ensure operational continuity.

- Conduct technical onboarding for new employees

- Administer Active Directory (account creation, access management)
- Escalate complex issues to the systems administration team
PROFILE
- 5+ years of experience in technical support (level 2)
- Experience in secure or government environments (strong asset)
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, networking, and virtualization
- Experience in user support and incident management
- Ability to work in constrained, high-security environments
- Autonomous, resourceful, and hands-on approach
- DEC (college diploma) in IT or equivalent
- Bilingual (English required, French functional)

Le Technicien Informatique (Niveau 2) sera responsable d’assurer sera responsable d’assurer le support technique de niveau intermédiaire, la résolution des incidents plus complexes ainsi que le maintien et l’optimisation des systèmes informatiques afin de garantir la continuité des opérations.
PLUS PRÉCISÉMENT
- Diagnostiquer et résoudre les incidents via un système de billetterie (OS Ticket)
- Préparer, configurer et déployer les postes de travail
- Assurer la mise à jour manuelle des équipements (postes, serveurs, logiciels)
- Effectuer l’onboarding technique des nouveaux employés
- Veiller au respect des normes strictes de sécurité et de conformité
- Administrer Active Directory (création de comptes, gestion des accès)
- Escalader les enjeux complexes vers l’équipe d’administration
PROFIL
- 5+ années d’expérience en support technique (niveau 2)
- Expérience en environnements sécurisés ou gouvernementaux (atout majeur)
- Fortes connaissances en : Windows, Active Directory, réseaux, virtualisation
- Expérience en support utilisateur et gestion d’incidents
- Capacité à travailler dans des environnements contraints (sécurité élevée)
- Autonomie, débrouillardise et approche hands-on
- DEC en informatique ou l’équivalent
- Bilingue (Anglais requis, Français fonctionnel)
