Position: Junior Graphics Designer
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
Location: Woodbridge, Ontario
Position Type: Hybrid, 4 days in-office.
Term: 12-month Contract Position
Salary Range: $50,000 - $57,000

YOUR ROLE IN DRIVING SUCCESS
As the Junior Graphics Designer on our Marketing Team, you will play a meaningful role in shaping and maintaining the visual identity of Ddrops Company and its brands. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sales and marketing materials that align with Ddrops Company branding standards, including product packaging, corporate collateral, trade show materials, and promotional items.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with our marketing team across packaging, digital, and retail design projects, gaining hands-on experience across the full CPG creative process, from concept through production.
The ideal candidate is ambitious and detail-oriented, with a genuine passion for design and visual communication, and thrives as a creative contributor within a team setting.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and develop assets for digital and print media.
- Maintain brand consistency across all creative assets by adhering to brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Contribute creative ideas and concepts to design projects that resonate with our target audience and align with brand identity, while incorporating feedback from team members to refine and enhance designs.
- Assist with packaging design updates and dieline artwork.
- Ensure editing, retouching and resizing assets, if necessary, for certain deliverables.
- Assist in asset creation for marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Perform press checks and review proofs.
- Contribute to the development and standardization of design and style elements.
- Assist in the maintenance and organization of design files and assets to ensure efficient workflow and project continuity.
- Stay informed on graphic design and motion design trends to enhance skills and techniques.
- Play an active role in fostering a collaborative team environment, contributing to the team’s engagement and creative dynamic.
- Candidate may be required to work occasional tradeshows in the GTA (2-3 times per year), which may include a Saturday or Sunday shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
- Post-secondary education in graphic design is required.
- 1-2 years of related job experience in graphic design is preferred. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated critical detail orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively and creatively within a team.
- Proven organizational abilities and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing your design skills, creativity, attention to detail and understanding of layout and typography.
- Proficiency with rendering creation and 3D Design software is an asset but not required.

Ddrops HQ is located in Woodbridge, ON, and approved roles have the flexible option to work remotely on Fridays, with the benefit of connecting in person on Mondays - Thursdays.
