About The Opportunity

Dayforce is seeking a bilingual (French-English) Instructional Designer to join our Global Training Services (GTS) team, supporting one of our most strategic customers, the Government of Canada.

In this role, you will design high-impact, scalable learning experiences that drive adoption of the Dayforce platform across a large and complex public sector environment. You will partner closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to translate business needs into meaningful, learner-centered solutions that support thousands of users.

You will create a wide range of learning solutions including eLearning, instructor-led materials, job aids, simulations, and blended programs, ensuring content is clear, engaging, and aligned to business objectives.

You will operate in a fast-paced environment with frequent product updates, requiring you to continuously learn and evolve content to reflect new functionality. You will also leverage modern learning technologies, including Articulate RISE, to design engaging digital learning experiences.

Due to the nature of the work (this role supports the Government of Canada), candidates must meet specific citizenship and security requirements.

What You'll Get To Do

  • Design and develop learner-centered training solutions that drive understanding and adoption of the Dayforce platform
  • Develop a variety of learning assets including eLearning, instructor-led materials, guides, job aids, and simulations
  • Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to define learning objectives and instructional strategies
  • Translate complex business and technical concepts into clear, engaging learning experiences in both French and English
  • Create customized learning solutions using client-specific data and business processes
  • Stay current with Dayforce product updates and continuously evolve learning content
  • Apply tools such as Articulate RISE and other modern platforms to build scalable digital learning
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness and continuously improve learning solutions
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive customer success and alignment

  • Fluency in French and English is required
  • Strong experience designing eLearning and digital learning experiences
  • Hands-on experience with modern learning tools and platforms, specifically Articulate RISE
  • Strong written communication skills in both languages, with the ability to create clear and engaging content
  • Ability to translate complex business and technical concepts into effective learning solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience managing multiple projects with strong time and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Teams and learning management systems
  • Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles is an asset
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design, adult learning, or a related field
  • Experience designing learning solutions for enterprise or technical platforms is preferred
  • Must be a Canadian citizen
  • Must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years
  • Must be eligible to obtain or currently hold Canadian Protected B security clearance (mandatory)
  • Must be eligible to work on Government of Canada-related projects
