Drive food development projects as an innovative R&D Scientist. Lead technical executions from ideation to commercialization while enhancing product formulations and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
In this role, you will lead technical research and product development across various projects. Your experience in food processing and product development will help you effectively execute renovations and evaluate new ingredients. You will play a crucial role in the commercialization of products while collaborating across teams to ensure quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical research for new product initiatives
- Develop and modify formulations at various scales
- Analyze and evaluate ingredient performance
- Coordinate production start-ups with Operations
- Support compliance with food safety standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Food Science or Engineering
- 3 years of experience in food product development
- Knowledge of PLM and nutritional analysis systems
- Familiarity with food standards in Canada and U.S.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
