Pay Range: $65hr - $71hr
- The Epic Ambulatory Application Support specialist will provide comprehensive support, maintenance, and optimization for Epic Ambulatory systems within a healthcare environment.
- This role involves handling service desk tickets, supporting system enhancements, participating in project builds, and ensuring seamless integration across clinical applications.
- The ideal candidate will have strong Epic Ambulatory expertise, project management experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional healthcare and IT teams.
Requirement/Must Have:
- Current Epic Ambulatory certification.
- Strong hands-on experience with Epic Ambulatory application support and maintenance.
- Experience across full lifecycle of clinical application implementation including design, build, testing, go-live, and optimization.
- Experience working with Service Desk tools and ticket resolution processes.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare workflows and clinical systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience
- Minimum five years of experience with Epic EHR implementations.
- Experience supporting Epic modules such as Wisdom, Bones, Kaleidoscope, Healthy Planet, MyChart, EpicCare Link, and Compass Rose preferred.
- Experience in project management within complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare environments.
- Experience working with reporting tools such as Epic Reporting Workbench.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for Epic Ambulatory applications including resolving service desk tickets and system issues.
- Support system optimization requests and assist with application build and enhancements.
- Coordinate workflow design sessions, documentation, system configuration, and testing activities.
- Lead and support integration and functional testing across systems.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress and conduct regular status meetings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Troubleshoot software and system issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct user training and develop training materials.
- Manage data validation, integration testing, and defect resolution.
- Support governance processes including request intake, prioritization, and execution.
- Maintain technical documentation, manuals, and integration references.
- Provide knowledge transfer and build internal technical capabilities.
- Participate in ongoing system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements.

- Experience with Epic Reporting Workbench.
- Experience with healthcare integrations and data exchange frameworks.
- Strong understanding of database systems and data normalization.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
