Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan targeting federal civilian agencies to meet and exceed annual revenue targets.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including CIOs, CISOs, program managers, contracting officers, and end users within civilian agencies.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, agency engagement, and collaboration with vendor partners.
- Lead the full sales cycle — from opportunity identification and capture planning through proposal support, award, and post-award account management.
- Partner with Cyberhill’s technical team, solutions architects, and vendor partners to develop tailored solutions aligned with agency requirements and priorities.
- Monitor and respond to procurement vehicles, RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs relevant to civilian agency clients.
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting, and account activity within CRM systems.
- Represent Cyberhill at industry events, conferences, and agency-facing forums (e.g., ACT-IAC, AFCEA, agency industry days).
- Stay current on civilian agency IT priorities, budget cycles, legislative drivers, and emerging technology trends.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of federal IT sales experience, with demonstrated success selling to civilian agencies.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a government IT VAR, or systems integrator environment.
- Established relationships and network within three or more major federal civilian agencies.
- Working knowledge of federal procurement processes, contract vehicles (e.g., GSA Schedules, GWACs, BPAs), and the FAR.
- Strong understanding of IT solutions in areas such as cybersecurity, AI, cloud, infrastructure, networking, or IT modernization.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a complex, multi-opportunity pipeline.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with or selling through contract vehicles such as GSA MAS, NASA SEWP, CIO-CS, or agency-specific IDIQs.
- Existing relationships with agency procurement and IT leadership across DOE, DOS, DHS, HHS, or financial agencies.
- Familiarity with FITARA, Zero Trust frameworks, and federal cybersecurity mandates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Salary range includes base and commissions.

$160,000 - $350,000 per year
