IT Manager / ERP Specialist - Manufacturing

Location: Baltimore, MD

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: Starting at $100,000 annually + DOE

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager / ERP Specialist to lead and enhance our ERP systems within a manufacturing environment. This role is critical to optimizing business processes, improving system efficiency, and supporting data-driven decision making across finance, analytics, and operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in ERP systems, SQL, and SSIS, along with hands-on experience supporting manufacturing workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes to identify and define ERP system requirements in a manufacturing environment
• Design, develop, and maintain custom programs and integrations using SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Configure and optimize ERP solutions to improve operational performance and support business objectives
• Design intuitive ERP functionalities and user interfaces to enhance usability and adoption
• Ensure seamless integration between ERP software and existing IT infrastructure
• Conduct diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and monitor system performance
• Provide technical support, training, and guidance to ERP users across departments
• Document ERP processes, configurations, and project progress
• Stay current on ERP, SQL, and SSIS enhancements and recommend system improvements

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
• Additional education in Business Administration or Manufacturing Operations is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in SQL with extensive experience using SSIS
• ERP certification or hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
• Oracle SaaS ERP
• SAP
• CSB-Systems ERP or similar enterprise platforms
• Minimum of 5 years of ERP experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and support diverse teams
