Position Summary
We are seeking a talented and versatile Instructional Designer & E-Learning Developer to lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of high-impact training programs.

This single role combines strategic training expertise with hands-on e-learning content creation using Articulate Storyline. You will design engaging, effective learning experiences that drive measurable performance improvement while producing professional multimedia assets using Adobe Creative Suite tools.


Key Responsibilities

Instructional Design & Training Strategy

  • Conduct training needs assessments and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify learning objectives and performance gaps.

  • Develop comprehensive training strategies, curricula, and learning pathways for technical, compliance, onboarding, and soft-skills programs.

  • Apply adult learning principles (ADDIE, SAM, Agile) to create blended learning solutions that combine e-learning, instructor-led training, microlearning, and performance support.


E-Learning Content Development

  • Build interactive, SCORM-compliant e-learning modules using Articulate Storyline 360.

  • Design intuitive navigation, branching scenarios, assessments, simulations, and gamified elements.

  • Ensure all content is accessible (WCAG/Section 508), mobile-responsive, and branded.


Multimedia & Video Production

  • Create and edit professional videos, animations, and motion graphics using Adobe Premiere Pro.

  • Record, edit, and produce high-quality audio narration and sound design with Adobe Audition.

  • Develop custom graphics, illustrations, icons, and visual assets using Adobe Photoshop.


Project Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to deployment and evaluation.

  • Test and troubleshoot courses to be deployed to LMS platforms.

  • Analyze learning metrics and feedback to iterate and improve course effectiveness.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, Multimedia, or related field

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in instructional design and e-learning development

  • Strong expertise in Articulate Storyline 360 (must have built and published complex interactive courses)

  • Advanced proficiency in: Adobe Photoshop (image editing, custom graphics, course visuals), Adobe Premiere Pro (video editing and production), Adobe Audition (audio recording, mixing, and mastering)

  • Solid experience in full-cycle video creation and multimedia asset development

  • Proven ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging learning experiences

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and LMS platforms

  • Experience with cross-collaboration across divisions.

  • Experience in healthcare, clinical, or medical education environments.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
