Job Title Officer - Security & Fire Safety Job Description Summary Job Description Job Title: Security Officer Location: Commercial Building / Office Complex Department: Security / Property Management 🧾 Job Summary The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property within the commercial building. This includes monitoring premises, controlling access, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. 🔐 Key Responsibilities Monitor and authorize entrance and exit of employees, visitors, and vendors Conduct regular patrols of the building and surrounding areas Operate and monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and other security systems Identify and report suspicious activities or security breaches Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or threats Enforce building rules, safety regulations, and company policies Maintain daily logs, IN and OUT registers and prepare incident reports Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required Assist visitors by providing directions and basic information Check bags, vehicles, or packages when necessary 🛠️ Required Skills Strong observation and attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm in stressful situations Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response Physical fitness and alertness 🎓 Qualifications Graduation / Retired defence personals (preferred) Security training certification (preferred) INCO: “Cushman & Wakefield” About Cushman & Wakefield Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) is a global leader in real estate services, leveraging our specialized expertise to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional value to owners and occupiers.
