Job Title: Senior Specialist Logistics Coordinator (Cell Therapy)

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland, (Hybrid)

Duration: 5-Month Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist Logistics Coordinator to support end-to-end vein-to-vein (V2V) logistics for cell therapy clinical trials. This role is critical in managing patient-centric shipments, coordinating apheresis collections and manufacturing slot schedules, and ensuring seamless execution of time-sensitive, temperature-controlled logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate V2V logistics including apheresis collection, manufacturing scheduling, and final product delivery
• Manage and adjust manufacturing and collection slots based on study needs and capacity
• Book, track, and monitor cold-chain shipments (LN2, 28C, ambient) using courier/LSP systems
• Handle shipment exceptions (delays, temperature excursions, customs issues) and execute contingency plans
• Ensure strict compliance with Chain of Identity (COI) and Chain of Custody (COC) requirements
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and external logistics vendors
• Maintain accurate shipment documentation, KPIs, and reporting dashboards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in biopharma clinical logistics or supply chain
• Strong knowledge of cold-chain logistics and GxP/GDP environments
• Experience with COI/COC compliance and shipment tracking systems
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups); experience with Power BI/Tableau is a plus
