Braceman P&O is a growing orthotics and prosthetics company serving patients across the United States. As part of our continued growth, we are investing in internal software systems and AI-powered tools to improve operations, patient workflows, and digital infrastructure.

We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer who wants to build real-world systems in a healthcare environment and grow with a fast-moving organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal web applications and dashboards
• Build workflow automation tools to improve clinic operations
• Integrate APIs and AI tools into internal systems
• Assist with development of simple web and mobile applications
• Support database management and system maintenance
• Collaborate with leadership to translate operational needs into software solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1–3 years experience (internships acceptable)
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript
• Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks
• Working knowledge of SQL databases
• Basic understanding of APIs and cloud platforms
• Interest in AI tools and automation is a plus

Preferred

• Experience building independent projects (GitHub portfolio encouraged)
• Familiarity with healthcare systems or HIPAA compliance (not required)

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
