Job Description

Summary The General Ledger Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Collaborate with AP, AR, Payroll, and FP&A teams Qualifications &

Skills

  • Graduate or post-graduate degree in any discipline
  • 2–5 years of experience in a general ledger or accounting role
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadline Budget: Upto INR 20 lacs Location: Kharadi, Pune
