Job Description
Summary The General Ledger Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Roles &
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies
- Support internal and external audits
- Collaborate with AP, AR, Payroll, and FP&A teams Qualifications &
Skills
- Graduate or post-graduate degree in any discipline
- 2–5 years of experience in a general ledger or accounting role
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadline Budget: Upto INR 20 lacs Location: Kharadi, Pune
