Job Description

Position: AI/ML Engineer

Type: Full-time

Compensation: $250K–$600K/year

Location: Washington, DC

Role Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize AI/ML systems leveraging LLMs, RAG architectures, and prompt engineering for production-grade applications.
  • Develop and orchestrate multi-agent systems using frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain.
  • Deploy AI solutions on secure cloud environments including AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, and AWS Bedrock.
  • Build scalable data pipelines, manage ETL processes, and maintain metadata catalogs and ontologies for high-quality AI training data.
  • Develop REST APIs and SDK integrations to enable seamless interaction with data and AI models.
  • Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable AI systems following DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
  • Document technical architecture, workflows, and decisions while communicating complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python for AI/ML development and backend integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering in production environments.
  • Experience with multi-agent orchestration and frameworks such as LangGraph or LangChain.
  • Deep familiarity with cloud AI platforms including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Vertex AI, or AWS Bedrock.
  • Experience building and managing data pipelines, ETL workflows, metadata catalogs, and ontologies.
  • Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and modern DevOps workflows (CI/CD).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
