Backend Software Engineer | $95/hr Remote

Position: Software Engineer II

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $70 to $95 per hour

Location: Remote US (Menlo Park onsite preferred)

Commitment: Full time temporary assignment

Role Responsibilities

• Execute large scale codepath analysis and migration within complex codebases.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across systems and platforms.
• Analyze and interpret complex architecture and detailed stack traces.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Document findings and contribute to technical process improvements.

Requirements

• Strong professional software engineering experience.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting expertise across technical infrastructure.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and MySQL environments.
• Ability to quickly understand and analyze complex codebases.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
