You are seeking a Lead Analyst in the Asset Backed Finance (ABF) division of a global Private Markets Asset Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining complex financial models for assessing asset-backed securities and private credit deals
- Supporting senior analysts and portfolio managers in due diligence processes
- Monitoring portfolio asset performance and conducting risk analyses
- Preparing detailed investment memos, reports, and presentations
- Conducting market research on industry trends and conditions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for deal execution and reporting
- Maintaining and enhancing internal databases of financial information
- Potentially using programming languages like Python or SQL for data analysis
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Master's degree in finance, CFA, or CA
- 6-10 years of experience in asset-backed finance or structured finance
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Prior experience in managing teams and client interactions
- Ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines
- A team player with a proactive attitude and a passion for the finance industry
