You will be responsible for minimizing downtime through proactive preventive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting of complex automated equipment, and the general repair of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, and electrical) to support all manufacturing operations.  CORE JOB DUTIES  Equipment Maintenance & Repair:  <ul> <li>Perform preventive maintenance (inspect, clean, lubricate, adjust) on pumps, HVAC equipment, boilers, valves, agricultural sprayers, industrial dehumidifiers. </li> <li>Diagnose mechanical failures using diagnostic devices and dismantle machinery to repair or replace defective components. </li> <li>Ensure automated equipment and systems remain operational through routine checks and technical troubleshooting. </li> </ul> Facility Upkeep:  <ul> <li>Maintain building systems including lighting, HVAC, life safety, and security fencing. </li> <li>Perform electrical, plumbing, and structural repairs or installations as needed. </li> </ul> Technical Operations:  <ul> <li>Read and interpret blueprints, machine prints, schematics, and service manuals for repairs and utility installations. </li> <li>Install piping systems (compressed air, irrigation piping, drainage systems) and industrial electrical control circuits. </li> <li>Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and work orders using CMMS software (computerized maintenance management system) </li> </ul> Safety & Independence:  <ul> <li>Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and use required PPE (hearing, eyewear, shoes). </li> <li>Work independently with minimal supervision to identify and resolve maintenance needs.</li> </ul> REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS   <ul> <li>Technical Expertise: Strong mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing and electrical systems. Proficiency with hand/power tools. </li> <li>Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly diagnose issues and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment. </li> <li>Experience: 3+ years of industrial/commercial building maintenance required </li> <li>Education: High school diploma or GED required; specialized technical training, apprenticeships, or an associate degree in industrial maintenance preferred. </li> <li>Certifications: HVAC Certification is highly preferred. NFPA 70E, EPA 608, etc. </li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level. </li> <li data-leveltext="o" data-font="Courier New" data-listid="4" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":1440,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Courier New","469769242":[9675],"469777803":"left","469777804":"o","469777815":"multilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="2">Capacity to sit, stand, kneel, and perform repetitive hand actions for long periods. </li> <li data-leveltext="o" data-font="Courier New" data-listid="4" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":1440,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Courier New","469769242":[9675],"469777803":"left","469777804":"o","469777815":"multilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="2">Willingness to work around plant materials, including potential exposure to pollen and dust. </li> </ul> BENEFITS Cresco Labs is proud to offer eligible employees a robust offering of benefits including, major medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(K)-match program, FSA/HSA programs, LTD/STD options, life insurance and AD&D.  We also offer eligible employees paid holidays and paid time off.  Other rewards may include annual discretionary bonuses, stock options as well as participation in our employee discount program.
