Role Description This is a part-time to full-time, mostly on-site Enrolled Agent / Accountant role based in Hanover, MD. Possible employment in our Jacksonville FL office. The role involves preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, ensuring accurate tax compliance, and advising clients on tax strategies within current regulations. The Enrolled Agent / Accountant will prepare tax returns, communicate with the IRS and monthly accounting clients.

Qualifications

• Strong tax-related skills, including Tax Preparation, Tax Compliance, and a solid understanding of Tax regulations.
• Enrolled Agent designation or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, or progress toward one of these credentials.
• Experience with tax and accounting software and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant work experience strongly valued.
